♥ bks
Working this week is damn tiring.
I changed my concession to MRT cos it's cheaper.
And so everyday I stood from Petir Lrt to Jurong, change track and take till Outram, walk the underground to NEL track, take the NEL train to Serangoon and change bus to Upp Paya Lebar Road then walk in to my office.
And because I've been using bus concession for the past 2 years, I dun remember to tap my ez-link card when I alight the bus and ka-ching! whole bus trip expenses minus off from my card value.
Cost quite alot this week.
But take bus also take the same time and need to change bus and mrt too.
HaAx* I'm just grumbling.. lala
Sunday went out with Tidbit for dinner.
He bluffed me down town lahx.
Say cut new hair want take neoprint.
Bullshit la.. HaAx
Never mind anyway I'm too bored at home too.
Trala
I finally finish Mitch Albom's Five people you meet in heaven.
My god the fourth was super touching I teared.
Lucky I was reading in my room.
I quoted my favourite parts when Marguerite told Eddie:
"Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy.
But sometimes, under the heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to itsroots, keeping itself alive."
"Lost love is still love, Eddie.
It takes a different form, that's all.
You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor.
But when those senses weaken, another heightens.
Memory.
Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it."
"Life has to end... Love doesn't."
That's why I love to read books.
It just takes you, body and soul into it.
And you feel like you know the character, their story, their feelings.
It made me believe there are true love.
And when I snap back, although I see many love ruin by the realistic of life and suspect the existence of true love, I know a tiny bit of me wishing badly that I'll have my true love too.
Yvonne said she'll lend me Mitch Albom tuesdays with Morrie.
Hmm, but I think I'll go for Shopaholic and baby first.
Luke is too irresistable!
Aww* If only he is real..
