♥ japan part 1
PART 1

Nippon Nippon Nippon!
I don't remember all the places' name I went to, but enjoy the pics at Ueno, Ginko, Tokyo and others yea? :D

We went to this temple(above) and went to this street full of souvenirs and food!

japanese school girls!

yum yum

cigarette vending machine!

drinks vending machine!

my fav coke!!!

this trishaw trumpet alike thing is playing music outside a CD store.

cute bus!

Our tour guide, Chris, recommended this small restaurant for its famous udon!

the udon is really q~

even japan's dog looks cuter!

I think my mum looks beautiful in this pic even though cherry blossom hasn't blossom :)

look at the thick snow behind me!

welcome to my home!

Legend has it saying that this girl (the golden statue) drank water from the lake, wanting to turn prettier but she tranformed into a dragon instead.. hmm..

our first night at mori no kaze!

this lady is playing the guzhen at the entrance la~
4.5 star hotel i think!!

A sumptous welcome dinner awaits us and we were all asked to appear in ukata :)

under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh eh eh~

my 1st time wearing ukata!
we're not supposed to wear undergarments, but Chris says it's ok to wear panty since we're heading for dinner :)

Performance after dinner~
Mummy and I went for the hot spring after the performance.
We're to enjoy hot spring naked! Lucky it's separated to ladies and men :)
It's very awkward initially soaking naked with my mum and seeing so many naked women walking like they have invisible coat on them. But after awhile I kinda adapted to it and if you don't look it in a dirty way, it's kinda nice actually, you know, it's nature :)

one last pic around the hotel and off we go to Songdao! We sat on a cruise touring the sea with many fascinating small island of different shapes.. there's this small island with around 7k population living on it and their source of livelihood is rearing oyster and seaweed!

And we get to feed seagulls with prawn crackers!
I love this candid shot of my mum :D

this is how close they are! I didn't zoom my cam at all!

Dinner at this buffet styled restaurant~ mummy was calling me baobei here and there Mr & Mrs Tan thought my name is baobei -.-

Look how big their tummy is!
Kiasu Singaporeans love buffet! haha!

Chris says the red bean soup is especially nice with mochi and green tea ice cream, so he scooped the ice cream for me :)

Shopping after dinner and we caught this cat on the streets!
See how stiff he's standing aha!
Then mummy & I went to take neoprints! It's half the price of Singapore's!

Went to visit Aizu Bukeyashiki (residence of the Samurai) the next day

The last samurai ain't Tom Cruise alright? It's him! the guy above :)

All the women are supposed to suicide -.-

the long bus journey aint boring with wallpaper alike scenery :)

this is not sashimi. this is my mummy's diet plan:grapefruit.
she ate a whole plateful of grapefruit in the morning, and congratulations!
She went to the toilet straight after that ahah!

Qns: What do the kid do when her parent is doing big business (in the toilet)?
Ans: Camwhoring!!! ahaha

The bus driver recommended famous ramen and tadah! It's very q too!
But I still prefer the Udon :D

Then we went to visit the sakae factory!
God knows how many cups of sakae Uncle drank and he keeps asking 'is there sakae at the next spot?' throughout the journey that day aha...
Then we went to visit the cemetry of the white tigers..
They're a group of 19 young samurais aged 14-17 who suicided upon seeing the Tsurugajo Castle being destroyed, as an act of loyalty.. Mummy pangtang say cannot take pictures of the cemetry so oh well I just take the scenery around lo
And this is the Tsurugajo Castle! (the rebuild version)

I wanna be a royalty to enjoy such scenetic view all year round!

Chris said the more we 'whoa' the slower shiragawa-san will drive, so we keep 'whoaing' till shiragawa-san stops to let us take pictures! ahahah

i call this the hairy mountain! hahah

this long scenetic journey enlightened me and saved me from another heartbreak :)
