♥ CNY
To my surprise, this year's cny is not that bad!
Cny eve went to my grandma's house to eat. Aunt cooked all the dishes grandma used to cook when she's still around. Like the curry chicken, soup, braised chicken etc.
Look exactly the same, but taste different.
Abit bland, but the effort is really heartwarming to see.
We all miss her, yes we do.
ANYWAY. Back to the happy atmosphere!
CNY DAY 1 PART A
I slept till 3pm!!!
Hahahahaha
So happy can! This year no need to hear my mum wake us up, rush us, nag at us!
We just stay at home yay!
Then Shijie and AhQi came around 6pm :)
They had nice natural hair wigs and nice manicured nails!
PART B
After my cousins left, I went to meet Baby to go his grandpa's house!
Baby's mum say cannot take orange bai nian, but still can take red packets!
So I just went there say hi and take red packets and eat dinner. LOL
Lucky most are familiar faces met before at their reunion dinner *phews
CNY DAY 2
Went to Baby's auntie's house but she not at home, so we went to Baby's grandpa house again lol.
Then went back to Baby's house to help out for their dinner.
Really ah sam lo. haha.
They invited their dad's side relatives and cousins!
The food preparation really shows how much me and sijia (baby's sis) spent in the kitchen haha! Then it's rounds and rounds of dish washing, clearing blah blah blah.
TIRED.
Then it was their family photo taking session. AND I was in it. OMG -.-
Then baby's mummy gave me boxes of mochi as token of appreciation then he drove me home. Yawns zzz
CNY DAY 3 PART A
The CBD area looks like a Sunday to me.
Buses are empty, streets are quiet.
The office is dead. LOL
Not many meetings at all. My supervisor ask me relax today.
All 3 tealadies give me red packets yay! Happy :)
Today is so bored at work. The tealady slept. And my supervisor went off early for the day.
Yawn.
PART B
Baby came to meet me and we went for River Hongbao!
It's our first time going floating platform!
Didn't get to see fireworks, but we saw firecrackers!!!
My first time! SO LOUD!
We bought mee goreng, satay, thai mango sticky rice, taiwan sausage, shark fin soup, veggy pizza, mini cheese hotdog! SO MUCH!
*CHS mates, river hongbao got sell the sotong also!!!!! If you all can't find the chinatown one, go the river hongbao one! Much more easy to find cos the food stalls are all at 1 area!*
Thursday: Yu belated birthday celebration with Pei, Ahliyasi & Ven.
Friday: Meeting Cherie, Jieying, Siwei & baby.
Saturday: Gym and movie with baby during the day.
Sunday: No plans yet but most probably spending with baby.
